A first-ever trip to Newport Show proved a successful end to the show season for Sophie’s Blue Texels, taking the interbreed group of three championship along with the reserve section championship in the AOB Continental section.
Clinching the interbreed group of three title were a trio of lambs, ewe lambs Littlebrook Kim K and Littlebrook Koco and ram lamb Littlebrook 25/02533.
Meanwhile, it was shearling ram Rookie Blues Jumbo who took the reserve championship, having been first in his class. Gimmers Littlebrook Joy and Littlebrook Jazzy were second and fourth, respectively, while ewe lambs Kim K and Koco were second and fifth.
