The first summer show of the season was a successful one for the Chaileybrook flock, with out shearling ewe taking the reserve breed championship.
This Sarkozy daughter won a strong class of shearling ewes before being tapped out as reserve champion by Poll Dorset breeder David Rossiter.
Meanwhile, our shearling ram, again by Sarkozy, and ram lamb and ewe lamb also won their classes, with the ewe lamb and ram lamb then teaming up to win the pairs class.
Pleasingly, the champion, an aged ram from Annabel Halcrow, is by a Chaileybrook sire.
In the Blue Texels Sophie’s Littlebrook flock fared well, with ewe lamb Littlebrook Biscuit placed fifth and her Nantyderri tup standing second in the aged ram class.
