One thing which really puts a smile on our faces is seeing our breeding performing well for our customers and so seeing a son of one of our tups topping the trade at the Society’s sale at Melton Mowbray last weekend was a great moment.

Wakes Hall Jimmy Choo from Jess Middleditch is a son of Chaileybrook French Connection, himself a full brother to Chaileybrook 13/0024 a 1200gns seller at the Diamonds and Pearls Sale in 2014.

He had previously been male and reserve overall champion at the National Show this summer and sold for 650gns.

Congratulations to Jess and we extend our best wishes to his purchasers, the Geary family. This has wrapped up a great sales season for Chaileybrook breeding, with the top three priced rams at the Society’s Premier Sale, Worcester, all being from our pen and the top priced ram at Melton Mowbray being by a Chaileybrook tup.

All thoughts are now firmly fixed on the Fantastic Fifty Sale at Newark in November when we’ll have 25 head of in-lamb females forward.
