Sophie’s Littlebrook flock enjoyed a good day’s trading at the Southern Supreme Sale of Blue Texels at Worcester, hitting a high of 900gns for Littlebrook Dundee, a shearling tup by imported Dutch sire Brucie Bonus.

Out of a Beili ewe which had been reserve breed champion at the Royal Bath and West Show 2016 and reserve interbreed Continental pairs champion at the same show, he attracted plenty of attention before selling for pedigree use in South Wales.

He was followed by Littlebrook Eagle Eye at 750gns, with this ram lamb, again by Brucie Bonus and this time out of a homebred ewe which goes back to Sophie’s original Bishops foundation stock, selling to breeders Harry Bishop and Emily South, Oxfordshire.

And at 520gns was Littlebrook Eccles, another Brucie Bonus son out of Sophie’s favourite ewe ‘Speckle’s from the Shearstone flock. He sold to Jim and Trudi Davies, Trujim.
