The third show outing of the season saw Southdown stock ram Chaileybrook Beaujolais take the breed and interbreed championships in a strong sheep section.

Homebred on both sides Beaujolais had won the first class of the day before going on to be breed champion and then interbreed champion as well as being part of the first prize winning group of three.

Reserve championship honours in the Southdowns went to our shearling ewe, Chaileybrook 21/01031, a Dartagnan daughter. In addition, both our ram lamb, Chaileybrook 22/01068, and ewe lamb Chaileybrook 22/1355 took first in their classes, with both of these also being by Dartagnan.

Across in the Blue Texels is was a winning day for Littlebrook Fizzy, a Littlebrook Brucie Bonus daughter, when she took the reserve championship in the AOB Continental section having stood second in her class behind the section winner.

Stock ram Beacons View Flash Harry took first in his class, with ewe lamb Littlebrook Giggles second and a February-born son of Flash Harry taking second in the ram lamb class too.
